Welcome to the Kiwanis Theatre! Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Chatham, right across from Tecumseh Park at the Chatham Cultural Centre (75 William Street North), this vibrant venue is part of the Arts and Culture division of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
Each year, the theatre hosts a wonderful mix of professional performances, showcasing not only talented artists from around the region but also local stars from Chatham-Kent. We’re proud to provide a welcoming space for various community groups and are frequently rented by national and regional promoters for top-notch entertainment.
Our theatre features a proscenium stage with an extended apron, offering a unique viewing experience. With a seating capacity of 615 (plus wheelchair-accessible spots), we can adjust the layout for different performances, whether it’s accommodating an orchestra or optimizing sightlines.
